Volunteer for Christmas with Saint Francis

Friday, December 5 – Christmas Market

5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Step into the magic of a European-style Christmas market right here at Saint Francis. Wander through twinkling lights and festive stalls as holiday vendors offer unique gifts for friends and loved ones. Experience the wonder of a live Nativity scene, the glow of our Christmas tree lighting and the joy of gliding across the skating rink. Students will share their talents through music, performances and activities for all ages. You won’t want to miss the immersive art experience created by our students and Campus Ministry team, offering a meaningful moment of reflection in the midst of the Christmas season. There is no cost to attend. All are welcome!

Our festive rink opens Friday night. Kick things off on Friday with a special appearance by former NHL San Jose Shark (and Lancer parent) Jonathan Cheechoo, on the rink from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Pre-sale skating tickets are sold out, but walk-ups are welcome! The fun continues on Saturday, when you can catch him again from 10:00–11:00 a.m., followed by high-energy vibes as DJ Alvin spins your favorite tracks from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. – Christmas Market and Holiday Skating
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. – Holiday Tea (one seating only)

Enjoy the warmth of fellowship at our cherished Tea & Tidings gathering. Sip hot tea, savor sweet and savory treats and connect with friends in a welcoming atmosphere. Browse holiday vendors for special gifts, enjoy the skating rink and visit the immersive art experience for a reflective Christmas moment. 

We’re thrilled by the incredible response and support from our community. The Holiday Tea event has reached capacity and registration is now closed, but please join us for the Christmas Market which is open to all. 

Lace up your skates and glide into the holiday spirit! Our festive rink will be open again on Saturday. Catch former NHL San Jose Shark (and Lancer parent) Jonathan Cheechoo again from 10:00–11:00 a.m. before DJ Alvin turns up the energy and spins your favorite tracks from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Skip the line and reserve your skating time in advance to join the fun.

Bring the spirit of the season home with our annual greenery sale! Choose from a beautiful selection of wreaths to brighten your home or give as gifts. Orders are open now, so don’t wait to add a touch of festive cheer to your holidays.
