Christmas with Saint Francis

A beloved tradition of gathering, reflection and celebration for our Holy Cross community.

Our 2025 Christmas with Saint Francis brought our community together for a joyful and faith-filled celebration of the Advent season. Through fellowship, hospitality, student creativity and shared moments of reflection, the weekend captured the spirit of hope, peace, joy and love that defines this cherished tradition.

A Community Effort

Christmas with Saint Francis was made possible by the generosity and dedication of our community. More than 125 volunteers shared their time and talents by decorating, baking, greeting guests and creating hospitality stations that made everyone feel welcome. We are deeply grateful to our families, students, educators and alumni whose generosity brought this celebration to life.

We extend special thanks to our sponsors and donors for their support in creating such a meaningful and beautiful experience for our community and the joyful contributions made to the Saint Francis Fund, which makes all our community programs happen.

Christmas Market Recap

Our Saint Francis campus was transformed into a festive European-style Christmas market filled with twinkling lights and seasonal cheer. Guests strolled through the Quad, visiting 33 holiday vendors offering unique gifts while enjoying music, student performances and warm hospitality.

The evening featured 10 student performances on stage, with 36 student groups contributing to the joyful atmosphere through music, service and welcoming roles. A particularly moving highlight was the immersive art experience in the Eggers Innovation Center, which guided guests through the Journey to Bethlehem and concluded with Advent themed student artwork and an interactive description of our student-designed Christmas card, as well as beautiful Live Nativity, offering a powerful moment of reflection as we prepare for Christmas.

Tea & Tidings Recap

Saturday’s Tea & Tidings welcomed more than 300 guests for a warm and intimate gathering centered on connection and community. Guests enjoyed hot tea, sweet & savory treats and meaningful conversation in a welcoming space that reflected the heart of Saint Francis. Holiday vendors and the immersive art experience provided opportunities for both celebration and quiet reflection during the Advent season.
